Why can't I type in some cells on a work table?

Some cells on a work table are locked on purpose. Locked cells are usually labels (row or column headers) or auto-filled fields such as Recorded By / Date. You fill the unlocked cells next to them.

Typical fill-in cells:

  • Value or comments text boxes
  • Accept / Reject / N/A or Pass / Fail checkboxes

Recorded By / Date usually fills in automatically when you complete a row. You do not type there.

If a cell you expect to edit will not take input, it is likely locked in the form design. A project administrator can unlock it by editing the table. Completing a form: Responding to Work. Table setup: Work Tables.
