Universal Labels
Summary
Labels (formerly called tags) let you group equipment, systems, work items, issues, and more so you can filter, report, and build dashboards around those groups. Stored values are the same data that used to be named tags.
Add or remove labels on work items
- Open the project and go to Work.
- Optionally filter the list, then select the work item(s) with the checkboxes.
- Click Edit in the toolbar (shown as Edit (N) when items are selected).
- In the Update Work Items dialog, find Labels.
- Use Add labels… to type a new label or pick an existing one (separate multiple with commas). Use Remove labels… to clear specific labels.
- Confirm to apply, or Cancel to leave without changes.
On a single work item, open the item, expand Details, and edit Labels with Add labels….
Equipment and issues
Use the same pattern on the Equipment and Issues lists: select rows, open Edit, and use the Labels fields. Exact toolbar labels match the page you are on.
Using labels
After labels are applied, filter on Labels wherever filters are available (lists, reports, dashboards).
Older web app (trac.bluerithm.com)
On the older web app, the same feature is still described as tags in places:
- Work: Detailed tab → select items → Options → Add Tags / Remove Tags
- Issues: Summary tab → select items → Options → Add Tags / Remove Tags
- Equipment/Systems: select items → Options → Add Tags / Remove Tags
Existing tag names continue to work as Labels in the new Bluerithm.
