How do I show how many equipment of a type are complete vs in progress?
Use the new Bluerithm dashboards at app.bluerithm.com. Sign in with the same login you already use. Those dashboards (including Work Matrix and Equipment Matrix) are more accurate than the older web app equipment-list bars: they give partial credit line by line (checkbox / filled cells) and required file by required file, hours-weighted. Older dashboards count work item by work item (0% until Complete, then 100%).
There are two different “complete vs in progress” questions:
- Equipment status counts (how many units are Not Started / In Progress / Complete). Add a chart and choose Card, Bar, Pie, or Donut, or use the default Equipment Status chart. Then set the chart filter to the equipment type (or folder). Equipment status is auto-updated from attached work and issues, so a unit can show In Progress after data is entered even if no checklist has been started.
- Work category counts (how many units have Prefunctional / Functional / Sequence Testing not started, in progress, or complete). Use Work Matrix. A group is one work category on one piece of equipment. That group is Complete only when every work item in the category on that unit is complete — the overall category status, not each section by itself. Completed count ÷ total count is “what share of units have that category fully done.” The % on the matrix is the hours-weighted line-by-line figure, which is more accurate but will not match that share.
To treat many similar types as one line (for example all doors in an Access Control folder, or several fan-coil types), filter the chart by folder instead of picking each equipment type. After you change filters, use Recalculate on the dashboard toolbar so the numbers refresh. Recalculate updates the whole dashboard, not a single chart.
See Work Progress Metrics for the math, and Portfolio and Project Dashboards for chart types, filters, and share links.
