Why does the Work list say workitem display limit 2000?

In the legacy web app (trac.bluerithm.com), the Work list can show at most 2,000 work items at once. When a filter still returns more than that, you see a message like:

Workitem display limit was exceeded so results were limited and summary metrics are excluded. Use the filters to select fewer workitems. Workitem display limit: 2000

That message is a screen display limit, not a cap on how many work items the project can store. Projects can have far more than 2,000 checklists and forms. See Is there a limit on how many equipment or checklists and test forms a project can have?

What to do:

  1. Run the same project in the new Bluerithm at app.bluerithm.com (same account email; if the password is rejected, use Forgot password on the new site — it does not change the older-web password). It does not have any limitations like this.
  2. Narrow the Work list further (status, equipment/system, location, search, or a tighter category) so fewer than 2,000 rows match.

Summary metrics on that older Work page are hidden while the display limit is exceeded; filter down to restore them for the visible set.
