How do I save a current project as a project template?

In the new Bluerithm (app.bluerithm.com), a live project does not have a separate “save as template” file export. You either copy the project and convert the copy, or convert the project itself into a template project.

Copy first when the original should stay on the regular Projects list (for example, a project contractors are already using).

Open Projects.
Select the project and choose Copy Project.
In the copy dialog, use Include in copy and Carry over from source for the pieces you want, then confirm. You should see Project copy started! Track progress in background jobs — the new project appears when the job completes.
Open the copy and choose Convert to template project. It then lives under Project Templates.

To turn the same project into a template (it leaves the regular Projects list), select it and choose Convert to template project. Reverse that later with Convert to standard project.

You can also start a blank template with Create Project Template on Project Templates. That does not copy an existing live project.

After a project is a template, build its equipment types, work, and reports there. To reuse that content on a new live project, use Project Setup Tools and Copy Into Project.
